for Enterprise Architects who have provided technical leadership
and strategic direction on projects involving Enterprise Architecture
Integration and Business Process Integration solutions. Our successful
candidates have extensive experience with the full life-cycle
development of large-scale distributed systems in n-tier and client
server environments.
Responsibilities
- Work with
heterogeneous project teams (research, design, development, and/or
implementation) to interpret the Enterprise Technical Architecture
based on business requirements.
- Understand
and document existing client business processes and rules while
translating strategies into functional design.
- Work with
user researchers, technologists, domain experts and designers
to ensure user interface reflects client, user and design requirements.
- Facilitate
discussions and lead collaborative sessions toward defining and
gaining consensus on technology principles and standards.
- Work with
project managers to define technical specifications and create
development schedules.
- Mentor team
of software development engineers.
- Ability to
identify implications, alternatives and/or tradeoffs in the areas
of cost/performance versus features/technologies.
- Bachelors
and/or Master's degree in software engineering, or equivalent
experience.
- 5 or more
years full life -cycle OO (Java or C++) application development
experience.
- 1-2 years
experience in one or more of Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE)
technologies (EJB, Java Servlets, Java Server, RMI, JDBC, JNI)
- Experience
in at least three large EAI projects.
- Solid understanding
of distributed computing and component based development experience
in EJB, CORBA and/or COM.
- Experience
with architectural abstractions and design patterns.
- Experience
with object-oriented modeling principles and methods ( OODBMS
and OO modeling tools - Rational Rose and UML).

Experience
with Application Servers such as, Weblogic, Websphere, Powertier
or Iona EJB Server.
- Appreciation
for solid configuration management process and tools.
- Excellent
problem solving and communication skills.
